Strengths Free, diverse in topics and content, all grade levels, worldwide, offered in several languages, and self-paced videos. f. Weaknesses Less interactive than a face-to-face teacher, only exposed to one teaching style, no collaboration, lessen spontaneous creativity. 2. Think about language concerns. a. Use of phonics Khan Academy created Khan Academy Kids, which assists at- risk learners below the national average to acquire reading skills within the national average in 10 weeks. Found to be beneficial for learners. Khan Academy has identified that phonics instruction can be challenging for some learners to utilize, as the phonetic components can be hard to remember. b. Readability Ranked top 6 best Learn to read apps. Aligned with a head start on early learning outcomes and Common Core. c. Vocabulary usage This is covered for the 2 nd to 9 th grades and aligned to common core state standards for reading. d. Provision of definitions It provides a thorough vocabulary resource for all words needed in the content area of the skill taught. The lesson includes definitions and how it is used with examples. Vocabulary is used throughout the instruction. e. Word choices They provide videos on the analysis of word choice and writing precision. Their SAT prep has students examine the differences between answer choices and analyze how words are used. f. Flow The language in this program is systematic and follows a progression. The concepts build on one another. 3. Think about ideas and concepts. a. Biblical perspectives Khan Academy does not explicitly provide Biblical perspectives, as the platform does not endorse religion. However, Khan Academy provides resources on religious and spiritual studies, such as the history of religions, world religions, and religious symbols. Additionally, specific topics such as literature, history, and geography may have content with religious implications or references. For example, the history of Ancient Egypt includes content related to the gods, goddesses, and religion of the ancient civilization. It provides varying lessons on many biblical topics related to World History, the origins of religion, and biblical perspectives. b. Compare/contrast to Scripture Khan Academy provides multiple points of view for each concept, allowing students to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the scripture. They also use cross-referencing to demonstrate how different scriptures relate to one another and how they can be linked together to understand the same concept better.

Grade appropriateness Courses and activities help students understand grade-level concepts and apply those concepts in meaningful ways. The materials are designed to challenge students at their level, enabling them to be successful while building their skills and learning the material. Khan Academy also supports teachers and parents to help students better understand the content and provide students with additional resources when needed. f. Curriculum perspectives Khan Academy is an online learning tool that provides educational resources and guidance to students in various subject areas. Khan Academy covers various topics, including mathematics, science, computer programming, history, economics, and art. Clear chapter headings and divisions Khan Academy format involves breaking course material into clear chapters and divisions. This allows learners to understand and follow the material quickly. Each chapter should include text and visuals to enhance understanding of the material further. Every unit is broken down into lessons. There is a scaffold approach to the lesson. Some lessons also provide sub- lessons to accompany the main topic. Very organized and easy to find. The search option makes for easy access to content. b. Use of graphics and visuals Use of graphic and animated visuals are used throughout the entire program. Photos, colored text, and annotated pictures are used to provide engagement. c. Identifiable topic sentences and headings Highlights are used to identify topic sentences and headings. Cursor used for placement and points of reference. d. Font and legibility Visible font. A variety of fonts are used in different colors and sizes. e. Spacing Appropriate spacing on writing information and visual representations. f. Grammar and spelling All content reviewed appeared to be correct. The program also provides typed cations of voiceovers while the program demonstrates examples. It uses standard English conventions. g. Layout Content material topics are on the left of the screen, followed by the visual writing board to the right. The next concept or lesson button is placed at the bottom right of the screen for easy transition ahead or backward . The layout includes a simple navigation menu, interactive learning modules, and a dashboard where users can track their progress. The site's design is responsive, meaning it can be used on any device or operating system. It also uses visuals, such as diagrams and videos, that are helpful for visual learners. h. Use of color A variety of pencil colors are used to explain the content topic. i. Ease of use Extremely easy to use and navigate. j. Adaptive features for assistance Playback features, language options, and closed captions are features for assistance. The program is extensive in mathematical content, so gaps are easily identified and filled in. This allows students to progress based on their mastery of concepts and skill level. Additionally, Khan Academy provides support resources, such as explanatory videos, interactive tutorials, and practice exercises, to help students of all levels further their understanding of topics. The program provides questions for students, whereby additional lessons are added if needed. Students are given further examples and practice on missed questions. c. Appropriate suggestions for additional reading or resources Additional resources are provided to students and teachers as needed on the platform. Skills missed are provided for remediation. Khan Academy offers support to its students through its Student Support Hub. Through this hub, students can get help from experienced student advisors with finding appropriate suggestions for additional reading or resources relevant to the subject they are studying. Advisors can also provide personalized advice and ideas to help students achieve their goals. With this support, students can access the help they need to get the most out of their studies and make the most of their learning experience. d. Addresses visual, auditory, and kinesthetic modalities The diversity of the lessons could be more extensive. The auditory and visual representation is there, along with using manipulatives through online platforms. Khan Academy students support addressing visual, auditory, and kinesthetic modalities, including providing students with multiple learning methods. For example, Khan Academy offers various multimedia content, such as videos, games, audio recordings, and virtual manipulatives, to help students learn in a way that best suits their learning styles. Additionally, Khan Academy offers various personalized tools and strategies, such as adaptive practice tools and detailed progress tracking, to help better support student learning. e. Logical development of subject matter Very logical in its representation of students in the content area. Sequential and progressive. Students receive support in developing logical, critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. The program also provides students access to resources that can improve their academic success, such as study guides, practice tests, and assessment tools. f. Provides introductions, explanations, and summaries introductions to new topics and concepts, explanations of how different concepts and topics related to one another, and summarizing key points and takeaways from lectures and activities are implemented. Khan also has a mastery system built into the platform to ensure students can review material they do not understand and track their progress (Khan Academy, 2023) . For Formative Assessment, Khan Academy allows students to submit practice work to their teachers so that they can track their progress across multiple topics. Khan also provides teachers with data-driven insights, such as how well a student is doing on specific topics, how often they are working on those topics, and how quickly they progress (Khan Academy, 2023) . For Performance-Based Assessment, Khan offers flexible tools such as their tasks platform, allowing teachers to create assessments measuring student performance. There are also tools to create projects and assign rubrics for grading. For Summative Assessment, Khan offers a variety of ways to measure a student's mastery level. The platform provides quizzes and exams to gauge students' understanding of a subject (Khan Academy, 2023) . In addition, teachers can create class-wide assessments to evaluate whether students are meeting learning goals. Finally, Khan also offers individualized assessments that measure an individual student's progress. Curriculum Evaluation Khan Academy supports these objectives by providing a personalized math curriculum plan tailored to each student's learning profile. It considers students' strengths and weaknesses and suggests activities, videos, and articles to support their learning ( Cargile & Harkness, 2014) . Khan Academy also provides various methods of engagement and motivation, such as badges, points, and leaderboards that track student progress and create a sense of competition. Finally, Khan Academy offers more than just a variety of math activities; but also provides opportunities for students to practice physical and mental activities that can be applied to their math skills ( Cargile & Harkness, 2014) . For example, the Khan

Additional resources would be used to enhance the online component of the curriculum change plan. Supplemental resources can include various materials, such as real-world examples to contextualize math concepts, manipulatives or interactive tools to explore concepts, and interactive activities for students to practice and apply their math skills ( Ghahrouie & Nourabadi, 2019) . Real-world examples help students to apply the math concepts they learn within Khan Academy and increase their engagement and motivation. Geometry concepts, for example, can be better understood when applied to the real world using angles in architecture, shapes in nature, etcetera. Manipulatives can also deepen students' understanding of mathematical concepts, allowing them to explore concepts through physical objects and interactive tools. This helps to engage students in their learning and to make abstract concepts more concrete. For example, students can use fraction rods to explore fraction equivalencies and visual fractions. Interactive activities are also a crucial part of strengthening a student's math skills, as they provide an opportunity to practice math skills and apply them in an interactive, engaging way ( Ghahrouie & Nourabadi, 2019) . This could include building a bridge with blocks or paper and tape, completing a virtual scavenger hunt by answering math questions, or creating a shape with a given area. Finally, board games, puzzles, and other physical activities can get students up and moving while still developing their math skills. This helps engage students in their learning while providing a fun and engaging way to use and apply math skills. The CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model is a comprehensive, systematic approach to evaluating educational programs, processes, and products (Gordon et al., 2018) . It is beneficial for personalized project-based curriculum evaluation because it allows for considering the local context, the input resources, the implementation process, and the product outcomes. The CIPP begins with context evaluation, where the environment and needs are analyzed to understand the current curriculum, the goals of the program, and the resources available to achieve those goals (Gordon et al., 2018) . This is

This includes assessing the quality and utility of the materials and the appropriateness of the desired outcomes. Having adequate resources is critical for successful personalized project-based curriculum evaluation (Aziz et al., 2018) . The process evaluation is the third step in the CIPP model and focuses on implementing the curriculum (Gordon et al., 2018) . This includes examining the methods used to deliver the curriculum and the effectiveness of the instructional strategies. This allows educators to identify obstacles to successful personalized project-based curriculum evaluation (Aziz et al., 2018) . The final step in the CIPP model is product evaluation, which assesses the curriculum outcomes (Gordon et al., 2018) . This allows educators to determine if the desired outcomes have been achieved and if further modifications are necessary. This is particularly important for personalized project-based curriculum evaluation as it ensures that the curriculum meets the individual needs of each student. Overall, the CIPP model provides a comprehensive and systematic approach to evaluating educational programs, processes, and products, making it the best-planned model for personalized project-based curriculum evaluation. It allows for consideration of the local context, the input resources, the implementation process, and the product outcomes, all essential for successful personalized project-based curriculum evaluation. Proverbs 21:5 says, “The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.” ( New International Version , 1769/n.d. Proverbs 13:4 ). This scripture emphasizes the importance of creating a plan and taking the time to thoughtfully evaluate various factors in order to ensure the best possible outcome. The CIPP model provides a systematic and comprehensive approach to evaluating educational programs, processes, and products, which is a necessary step to ensure success.
