Please complete all 3 parts of this template using the example proposal template from the assignment instructions as your guide.
Download this file, complete your answers, save and upload to the assignment submission area. I. Based on your current favorite choice for a topic/debate within the course theme announcement
, answer the following: A. State your stance within the debate you chose, without using “I.”
(1 sentence)
Virtual healthcare services should be incorporated, based on all the new contagious diseases, it will improve patient fear of contracting any disease. B. Why is your stance a good one for an argument research essay? (at least 3 sentences)
This is a good stance for an argument research essay because there is more information on who this will be more beneficial for. This can show how it helps clinics and hospitals in ways where fear can be reduced. It will also show how there is more information on how helpful this was when we got hit with a pandemic.
C. Who might disagree with your stance and why? (at least 3 sentences)
I have an idea that the ones that will disagree will be the people that prefer office visits. It might also be the ones that don’t have very much knowledge of using any electronics. There might also
be information as to how there might not be enough staff on site, so like the employees themselves. I will have to research more information but for now those are some ideas that come in mind. ©2021 Chamberlain University
D. Who do you imagine your audience will be? (at least 2 sentences)
I imagine my audience to be my classmates and professor. If possible, I can also imagine it to be the public to get an idea on how virtual healthcare can be useful. Especially the ones that don’t want to contract any disease. II. In a full paragraph of 7-9 sentences, and without performing any research, please note what you already understand about the debate and what you do not already understand about the debate:
What I currently understand about this debate is that virtual healthcare visits are beneficial because there are a lot of new diseases. It will help lower the contraction rate. Besides that, it will help patients be in the comfort of their homes. It might not just be beneficial for disease purposes but for when you don’t think you can make it on time to an appointment due to work or
other responsibilities. You will also avoid any traffic showing up to an in person visit late. Sometimes we experience obstacles along the way and might arrive late to an appointment and end up with a cancelled appointment. I am unsure if this will be helpful to anyone or if they prefer in-person visits. I may also not know if I will find more information to oppose my debate. I don’t know if there are any statistics to show how this will be a great argument.
III. Shortly, you will begin scholarly research in the library. This research will help you find opposing viewpoints (sources that disagree with you) and supporting viewpoints (sources that agree with you), as well as information to fill in missing gaps in knowledge you may have. With all three of these goals in mind, please list five possible search phrases you might use when you begin searching in the library.
