Explanation: Several points of interest in this lab need to be noted since many different things caused issues however the results we achieved were still what was expected. First, the excel plots have a lot of noise due to the number of points we plotted causing the plot to overlap itself several times. This is also partially due to the excel plotting also being a little funky when plotting. Furthermore, the plots use Ic in terms of amps causing the shape to look a little off than from the lab file the major culprit being the last PNP plot from figures 8a and 8b. Moving to the data the numbers recorded also had problems mainly stemming from the calculations. The calculated values for the resistors ended up differing for myself and my lab partner as well as two other groups in the lab resulting in more inconsistencies in the data. Another factor was the simulations used new techniques and processes to get data so I am unsure if I used the correct tools and was given wrong data from the simulations. However, regardless of this majority of the data points met with the necessary conditions and the ones that didn’t were due to problems with multisim. Some of the simulation to measurement values were similar but a difference of data was expected since we measured using my partners resistance values rather than mine. On the topic of resistances the last thing we want to note is that in the circuits with the current sources or 7a-8b we had to use slightly different resistances since the calculated ones were messy to build and caused problems with construction of the circuit. After addressing the problems encountered the data otherwise aligns closely with what we expected to see in the results.
