DSIN 141 MIDTERM PROJECT 2 Lipton Green Tea is a popular product whose ad is shown here. The goal of this ad is to get people who care about their health and are looking for a refreshing drink to try Lipton Green Tea because of its health benefits and refreshing taste. Workspace: For a high-quality display, I changed my workspace in Adobe Photoshop by making a new document with the dimensions 1920x1080 pixels. I also made a layer group for the text and another layer group for the image. The task was to come up with a design that looks good and is easy to understand. Design Principles and Elements: To make the text stand out, I used the design principle of contrast by putting green and white together. I also used typography by choosing a modern font that was easy to read. I added a picture of a cup of green tea with lemon to the graphics to show that the product is both healthy and refreshing. Tools/Layers: For the headline and subheadings, I used the text tool. For the green banner in the background, I used the shape tool. I also put the picture of the green tea on the image layer. Repairing/Retouching: To make the image of the green tea cup look better, I used the healing brush tool to get rid of any spots or other flaws. Image Adjustment: I used the curves adjustment to make the image's colors stand out more and make it brighter and more interesting.
DSIN 141 MIDTERM PROJECT 3 Save file: I saved the file as both a JPEG and a PNG. The JPEG file is smaller, which makes it easier to load on web pages. The PNG file, on the other hand, has a higher resolution and is better for printing or showing on larger screens. Purpose: The objective of the advertising is to attract prospective consumers who are concerned about their health and are seeking for a beverage that may satisfy their need for something refreshing by highlighting the positive health effects and revitalizing flavor of Lipton Green Tea. Those who are attempting to reduce the amount of sugar they consume, individuals who are searching for a caffeine boost without the jitters, or people who just appreciate the flavor of green tea might fall into this category. Workspace: While creating a high-quality display for the advertising, the workspace in Adobe Photoshop was modified to meet certain requirements. We wanted to make sure that the advertising could be used effectively across a variety of digital media, therefore we decided on the proportions of 1920x1080 pixels for it. Both the text and the picture have been separated into their own layer groups in order to make it simpler to deal with each of them independently. While developing the advertising, one of the issues that we had was coming up with a layout that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also simple to comprehend. Design Principles and Elements: In order to draw attention to the text, I used the design principle of contrast by using the colors green and white for the text. This helped the text stand out more. Because of this, it was simple to read and stood out dramatically against the backdrop. The text was set in a typeface that was both contemporary and straightforward, making typography one of the most important aspects of the design. To further emphasize the invigorating and wholesome qualities of the product, a graphic depiction of a cup of lemon green tea with a slice of lemon was included.

DSIN 141 MIDTERM PROJECT 4 Tools/Layers: I used the text tool to construct the headline and the subheadings for the advertising that I was making, and I used the shape tool to make the green banner that is in the backdrop of the commercial.
