Table 3.1 Kalaya Maldonado’s Fluency Deck 3 Application Graph Raw Data Data Analysis Figure 1.1 and Figure 2.1 displays the data collected for the week of May 21 st - May 28 th SAFMEDS for ABA 626. Acquisition accel data over the week is present with an increasing trend and low variability. The last accel data point of the week was at 17, indicting the AIM has been met for the week. Acquisition decel data is present with a low level and a zero trend. The last timing for the week was 17 accel and 0 decel. Figure 3.1 displays the data collected while studying fluency deck 3 of the SAFMEDS for ABA 626 for the week. Fluency accel is present with an increasing tend. Fluency acel also shows a low variability. Fluency decel is present with low variability and zero trend. Study Approach and Adjustments Antecedent My current study plan has shown to be effective over deck 3 and fluency deck 3. The first step was to set my weekly goal of 14 accel within deck 3. After that I determined my reinforcer for the week if this goal was met by Saturday. Current reinforcement procedures include one, being reinforced by completing my SAFMEDS study time and data input by 9 pm nightly by watching a preferred television show. If I meet my weekly accel goal by Saturday morning I reinforce myself by going out for breakfast. Antecedent procedures I used include
making a quizlet of all the cards so I could switch the cards back, and forth and study the cards I kept missing more intensely. Additional procedures include, studying 5 days per week for 30 minutes, reading through the deck, reading the front of the card, and saying the back out loud. Another procedure used is reading the definitions of each of the terms in the Cooper, Applied Behavior Analysis book. Behavior: On day 1 of a run day, I run one 30-second timing and enter that data point in Precision X for a baseline data point. For week 1 days 1 through 5, I study the cards for 30 mins. After studying, I run 10 30-second timings, shuffle between each timing, and enter the best data point into Precision X. This is done for a minimum of 5 days. For my fluency deck, I run three 30- second timings. This is done for a minimum of 5 days. Consequence. Following my last timing, I enter the data into Precision X immediately. I am looking at the data across the week and the deck to evaluate if the AIM is anticipated to be met and/or if there is variability in the data. This week’s acquisition accel data has low variability and met the AIM, therefore no proposed adjustments are required. I did hit my aim for the week and reinforced myself by getting breakfast Saturday morning. Adjustments: No adjustments needed at this time.
