2 1. Draw a Use Case Diagram along with a Use Case Description describing the use of CAT Scan system that can be used for diagnosing lung cancer. Any scenario of use may be considered for this answer. (25 Points) Use Case Diagram:
3 Use Case Description Use Case Name Diagnose Lung Cancer Participating Actors Radiologist (Primary), CAT Scan Controller, Image Processing Flow of Events 1) The Radiologist initiates the process by requesting a lung scan for a patient suspected of having lung cancer. 2) The CAT Scan Controller captures the scan images of the patient's lungs. 3) The Image Processing subsystem processes the scan images to enhance clarity and remove artifacts. 4) The Radiologist interprets the processed images to identify any abnormalities or signs of lung cancer. Alternative Flows 4a) If abnormalities are detected, additional scans and/or tests may be requested for further diagnosis, referral for biopsy review, or confirmation. 4b) The Radiologist makes alternate diagnosis based on the interpretation of the scan images. Entry Conditions The CAT Scan system is operational, and a patient is positioned for scanning. Exit Conditions Radiologists complete the process of diagnosing lung cancer using a CAT Scan system or does not provide diagnosis of lung cancer due not finding abnormalities.
