1. Did you encounter any problems or challenges while going through this lab? What were they? How did you resolve those problems? I would say finding the update services council was the hardest part of the lab. To solve this I just traced back on the instructions and carefully read what I needed to do. 2. What did you learn from going through this Module? If this was review for you, select a topic that interests you from this module and write about it. Responses to this question must be at least 100 words for full credit.
In this lab, I completed essential tasks for Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and Group Policy management. I created a "C:\Updates" folder, installed WSUS with required features, and configured the database on a dedicated SQL server. Synchronization with Microsoft for updates was a crucial step.Active Directory management involved establishing the "Win10Clients" OU and moving a computer (CLIENT01) into it. Group Policy played a key role as I created the "Win10Clients Updates" GPO to fine-tune WSUS settings.I documented my progress with screenshots, a valuable reference for future tasks. This lab equipped me with practical skills in setting up and configuring WSUS for efficient Windows update management in a networked environment, essential for maintaining system security and currency.
