INTRODUCTION The purpose of this presentation is to show the importance of classroom rules and procedures. This presentation how will demonstrate on the classroom environment effects the overall success of the students learning and behavior. "Rules are explicit statements that define the appropriate behaviors that educators want students to demonstrate. Rules are important because they Allow students to monitor their own behavior, remind and motivate students to behave as expected" (Iris Center, n.d.)
RULE # 1: TREAT OTHERS WITH HONOR, RESPECT AND INTEGRITY ALWAYS SPEAK BE TRUTHFUL ALWAYS SAY PLEASE AND THANK YOU ALWAYS SAY YES MA’AM, NO MA’AM, YES SIR, NO SIR

RULE #2: LISTENING AND FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS IS FUNDAMENTAL Follow all instruction Listen to directions thoroughly Honor and respect whomever is speaking.
RULE #3: KEEP YOUR AREA CLEAN Throw away all trash Throw away If you still something, wipe it up Wipe Place all materials in there corresponding area Place
CONSEQUENCE - 1 Verbal Warning If any of the rules are broken the student will be administered a verbal warning. The verbal warning will consist of reminding the students of the classroom rules and procedures. It this is an ongoing issues then the consequences will elevate.

CONSEQUENCE - 2 In School Detention If the students continues to be defiant and not follow classroom rules and procedures after the verbal warning. The student will be given in-school detention.
CONSEQUENCE- 3 Parent teacher conference / Suspension The teacher will request to have a conference with the student's parents. During this conference, the behavior o the student as well as the classroom rules and procedures will be discussed again.

ROUTINE – 2 UNPACKING AND PACKING Unpacking Take bag to desk to unpack materials needed for the day Store bookbag in designated area Packing Student will be called upon two at a time to retrieve their bookbag to pack up to go home
ROUTINE – 3 DAILY/WEEKLY REWARDS Students will be given to opportunity to choose a prize for the prize box for outstanding behavior. This can occur daily or weekly.
