The test results were quite accurate in revealing my preferred communication
styles. The top style, which is action (style 1), scored the highest with 13 points.
Following closely, styles 3 (who) and 4 (why) were tied at 11 points each. On the other
hand, my least utilized style is the process (style 2), with just 5 points in that category.
From taking this assessment, I've gained valuable insights about my communication
style. It turns out that I strongly align with the action style, which resonates with my
nature. I'm the kind of person who swiftly transitions from one idea to another. I'm down-
to-earth and prefer direct communication, leaving little room for misinterpretation.
Getting straight to the point has always been my approach, and I value feedback,
especially when working on projects with others. I often find myself using visual aids to
enhance my explanations. Through this assessment, I've discovered that my spontaneous
side emerges when it comes to style 3. I can be emotional and sensitive, particularly
when receiving feedback from individuals whose opinions I highly value. In style 4, I've
found my love for trying new things and where my creativity, charisma, and imagination
thrive. It's also the realm of my ego, brimming with ideas and innovations. I comprehend
why style 2, the process-oriented one, is my least favored communication style. I must
admit, I'm not the most organized individual. Even though I appreciate facts and enjoy
weighing options with their respective pros and cons, I'm the kind of person who tends to
rush through processes that a methodical thinker might embrace.
The action I plan to take because of this assessment is I plan to focus on
embracing and enhancing my preferred communication style, which is action oriented. I
will continue to leverage my natural ability to swiftly transition between ideas and
maintain direct and clear communication. I will emphasize my strengths in providing
concise feedback and using visual aids to enhance explanations, recognizing the
effectiveness of these methods in my communication style. I'll work on valuing feedback
from individuals I respect while understanding the importance of managing my
emotional responses. I will actively seek opportunities to explore new ideas and embrace
innovation in my projects and interactions. I intend to develop my organizational skills
and become more methodical in my approach when dealing with structured tasks and
projects. I will leverage my newfound self-awareness to enhance my communication
skills, embracing my strengths while working on areas that need improvement. This self-
reflection will guide me in becoming a more effective communicator and collaborator in
various situations.
This assessment taught me a lot about how I talk to people, and I'm determined to
get better at it. I realized that I'm pretty good at switching between ideas and speaking
clearly, so I want to get even better at that. I'll keep giving short and to-the-point
feedback and use pictures and stuff to explain things because they work well for me. I
also get why it's important to listen to feedback and not get too emotional about it – it
makes conversations go smoother. I'm all in for trying out new ideas and being creative
in my school projects. To get more organized, I'll be more careful with structured tasks.
This self-awareness stuff is going to help me shine with what I'm good at and get better
at what I'm not so great at, so I can talk and work better with all sorts of people.
