Introduction
In this document, my interpersonal communication assessment test results will guide me to which areas I need to improve by comparing the measurements with my lower scores versus those with above-average scores. After performing my interpersonal communication assessment, higher scores included communication planning, message creation, and message sending. I scored fairly in areas like listening and interpreting messages and receiving feedback. On the other hand, I could have communicated better using technology, as shown in the figure below. These guidelines are presented with my need to improve using technology to communicate.
Summarizing Sources
During week two, I focused on different technological approaches and tried conferencing on different platforms, such as Zoom and Teams, and learn how they operate. I explored different technical methods for conferencing. I first increased my Facetime interaction with my family, then started with some close friends. Zoom was easier since I use it at work and with a conference call with ex-colleagues. I have successfully utilized it and was limited with Teams since it is only a work-related platform I only use if communicating with my department meetings. I still need help with my comfort and progress since these platforms have many functions. So far, I mastered the essential functions and can easily navigate the platform. I was able to set up scenarios for others, but moving forward and continued, I could execute all my goals set.
Live Learning
During my live learning experience on November 3, 2023. I gave information on what areas of the UAGC library can be used in developing your final paper and how to incorporate all the weeks' goals and accomplishments together to finish your piece effortlessly. I congratulated the professor since she also completed her PH.D., one of her goals. I highly recommend that anyone take this course. I wish I knew all the information given; it makes the whole system much more accessible and facilitates a better understanding of the class. Live learning was a needed tool for the development of our skills. Many areas did not apply to me, but I scheduled the live learning so far down the class. In the future, I will take live learning classes early and be more fluent in my knowledge and understanding of the course.
Success and Challenges
A terrible challenge I ran into is the starting time and initial setup for meetings since we all have different time zones. As we try to synchronize the meeting time and place for the meetings, the remote individuals not connected directly with Teams get a link to join and a time to log in. This also challenges the first-time joining colleagues with diverse issues such as connectivity and entering the link password to connect. This is not an easy password, and many copy and paste do not work since, on many occasions, this feature adds a space that makes the password incorrect. This is a standard indicator that digital communication, as easy as it is set to

make our lives, can be troublesome.
Using technology is a specific aspect of interpersonal communications that showed my most significant need of improvement because it has been my challenge for a long time. Loading videos is a less-than-desired struggle that I face in my everyday life. Communication on camera is a challenge that I have struggled with ever since I was in elementary school to date. This will be a challenge, but reading in the past weeks and submitting myself out of my comfort zone has been the key to overcoming this communication skill. Improvements and Goals
Different technological approaches were executed. I had Zoom meetings and 4-way Teams calls with colleagues from other work sites. I have Facetime and include combined calls with my family and some friends who understand my exercise. I got more familiar with these platforms and am confident with the apps. I mastered the essential functions and now can easily navigate the platforms. I set scenarios that could challenge me and did them straightforwardly to facilitate my navigation with the menus. I will take the live learning classes earlier to understand
the lessons better; I will continue to practice in my digital media and with my PowerPoints since anything challenging should be taken forward and with motivation since this is what we need to improve on.
