SOCIAL MEDIA AND MARKETING Abstract
As the leading audio software company that continues to develop and grow its brand, social media has become one of Serato's number one marketing tools to reach its audience. Social media is a great way to connect with new, existing, and potential customers. "If your small business doesn't have a social media presence, you may be missing out on significant benefits for your brand." (Cotriss, 2020). Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitch are just some of the platforms Serato has used to grow its brand to millions of DJs, producers, engineers, and musicians across 190 countries.
Serato uses its social media platforms as a branding tool to keep users updated and informed with the latest and greatest. The platform also allows its elite users and followers to display their skills and insights on new products. The brand portrays itself as an informative social media platform. From the first look, you can see that Serato is a company or brand page, not just a personal musician's social media page. A page that has something to do with producing
or DJing. Posts as recent as a few hours from this being written and contacts posted almost daily.
It is clear that the brand is active on its social platforms. Serato allows followers to interact with the brand by posting comments and allowing feedback and discussions among its users. Serato stays active on its platform by responding to questions and comments made by followers. Serato encourages followers to contribute to their social media accounts by using hashtags with their personal posts. This also allows the follower to grow their brand. Serato uses different ways to interact with its followers depending on the

SOCIAL MEDIA AND MARKETING platform its followers use. On Instagram and Facebook, they may just simply respond to a question asked. Although they may use Youtube and Twitch to promote new products or users using new products, They also use them to respond to popular questions that affect many of their followers. How-to and step-by-step videos.
Serato has created a world-class product that sells itself. From years of developing the best DJ software on the market to keeping up with technology and consistently improving its software, The brand has truly earned its customer's trust. Using Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube to display and advertise its latest releases allows the company to utilize these platforms for free marketing. Serato use's these social media platforms to expand its brand. Maintaining an active social media presence helps build brand awareness by keeping followers in the know. The brand has a sizable and engaged online following, which indicates that the intended consumers are actively involved with the brand. Finally, the brand has done an excellent job using social media to grow and keep up with its followers.
