Summary and Purpose of Assessment
The purpose of this assessment is for you to demonstrate knowledge and methods that you need to apply to your practice as a youth worker in identifying needs and issues facing young people, planning and facilitating programs and service to address the identified issues and encourage youth participation. All of these topics have been covered in your learning program, but you will also undertake some of your own research
to complete the questions.
Assessment Instructions
For this assessment you are asked to answer 18 questions which relate to a range of topics related to identifying needs and issues facing young people, planning and facilitating programs and service to address the identified issues and encourage youth participation. Where
You will be given guidance and one day in class to complete this task. If you are unable to complete this task during that time, you will need to complete it in your own time. How
You must answer all questions correctly.
Conditions for assessment
This is an individual assessment task. You must not copy the work of others.
This is assessment based on the topics covered in class. You are allowed to access references and websites to help answer the questions.
