Employee diversity is a broad concept that includes many aspects such as gender, race, religion, ethnic origin, and educational background. However, it is age diversity that should not be ignored. The terms age diversity is often used interchangeably in the modern workplace. This assignment focuses on how employees of different ages can bring benefits to the workplace. The definition of age diversity refers to "accepting" employees of all ages. This presentation project provides an opportunity to examine the working world of people of all ages. In this way, authors can gain better understanding and judgment on how to deal with people from different backgrounds. Having a diverse age group in the workplace is important and that's why I chose this topic. Companies need to benefit from the diverse experiences of each age group. In addition to understanding and integrating the skills of each generation, companies can also benefit from their synergies. Moreover, the implementation of new technologies requires adaptations of different generations. Younger generations are used to adapting to new technologies, while older generations may not be as familiar with them. I believe that the sources I have referenced are accurate and will be useful for future project research.
I chose Millennials because they are the next generation on the same scale as baby boomers. They can be described as the baby boomers of the technological age. They are a generation that wanted more from life than their parents raised them to. They wanted to be independent and their professional life was more important than starting a family like their parents.

Generation Y is the generation of people who were born from 1980 to the mid 1990’s. This is the generation was born with the tech knowledge, the social buffs, emotionally charged, connected to peers and the list goes on from there. According to Recruitment Trends the generation Y are also called the “Millennials or Digital Natives. They do not know a life without the internet. Socializing via Facebook, and Instagram (Steiner. March 2016).” They are also described as “self-confident and ambitious (Steiner. March 2016).”
Primary Source How do the above references qualify as primary sources? This resource is packed with information to help you support Millennials in and out of your workforce. There is also a clear definition of Generation Y and what it is. This sets us apart from all other generations in existence. This resource also describes the characteristics of Generation Y. Preliminary Findings The Millennial generation prioritizes work-life balance and flexibility in their careers, valuing experiences over traditional material goods. They exhibit a strong preference for meaningful work that aligns with their values and allows for personal growth and development. The Millennial generation is highly connected and tech-savvy, relying on digital communication and social media for networking and information. They value diversity, inclusion and social responsibility in the workplace, looking for organizations that promote these values. The Millennial generation tends to be more collaborative, adaptable and open to change compared to previous generations.

Primary Source findings in your two Secondary Sources The Primary sources examine the experience of burnout, which is prevalent among millennials. The first secondary source examines perceived narcissism and self- centeredness among Millennials. Stein will discuss how factors such as education, technology and social change are influencing Millennials' attitudes and behaviors. It explores how these characteristics manifest in different aspects of life, from relationships to the workplace, highlighting the unique characteristics of this generation. The second secondary source emphasizes the importance of understanding the values and motivations of Millennial employees. How would this project influence my future career? The more knowledge that I get it will make me a more valuable as a person to a future manager and/or company. Growing as a person shows a future company that you are willing to expand with the company and that you are more open to new things that come your way. It would also help to know how someone from that generation work ethics are and how to manage them as a leader or as a manager. Influences of my future career
