Group #2- Case Study Jane is a 36-year-old single mom of 2 boys, ages 2 and 3. Jane is here for her follow-up appointment and has arrived 20 mins late. Jane is 5ft 7in, weighs 180 lbs., and drives a 2012 Honda Civic. Jane tells you the last goal was to walk 30 minutes a day, twice a week and eat a fruit at breakfast daily. Jane reported that she was unsuccessful in achieving her SMART goal, she felt very overwhelmed, but she did eat an apple on Monday morning with her breakfast. Jane reported she is disappointed that she did not accomplish her goals. However, she is still determined to work hard to achieve them. Jane reported she was limited on time because she was working overtime all week and was forgetful at the grocery store. Also, she says her running shoes are very uncomfortable, and she needs to find time to buy new ones. Jane mentioned she found a nice pair that looked comfortable on AMAZON and added them to her cart. Jane plans to purchase comfortable shoes to use for her 30 min walks. Jane wants to make an e ff ort to accomplish her 20-minute walks because she feels this will give her more energy. She reports she received the email with the resource but needed more time to look at it.
