CEO Question 1:
How profitable are we in each region?

The south region is by far the weakest region when it comes to generating profit. Both in total profits generated & in average profit per order. d)

The firm must find a way to increase the average profit per sale in the south which is at 15.99 compared to 200+ for all other regions. e)

I believe a potential solution would be to reduce the shipping costs of the products sold in the south region. Their total shipping costs are higher than the east region who has 200k more in total sales. f)

Who are our low-volume customers?

Small Business and Consumer segments are responsible for the least number of sales at 363k & 357k respectively. d)

Despite being ahead of Corporate customers in average quantity of order they (small-business & Consumer) still produce only 64-65% of the total sales compared to the leading customer segment.

I believe that to promote more sales from the low-volume customer segments the firm may want to alter their marketing strategy.

Corporate clients are receiving the highest total discount at 27,080$, Home office customers received 19,360$, Small Business 17,929$ & Consumer 17,724$
*My actual calculations done on excel gave me values of 29,403.73, 18,893.63, 13,974.91 & 14,686.33 (in the
order of my answer above). Not sure why I couldn’t manage to get these on Power BI.
