Netflix first started using a human resource strategy to manipulate its operation in 2001 up to date. It is an average of twenty years that Netflix. In 2001, the company had attained a number of on hundred and twenty workers, and at that time, the organization was planning to adopt the Initial Public Offering ( Hbr, N.P). At the end of 2001, Netflix had accumulated a lot of work where the number of workers was fewer by thirty percent. 2.) What can other companies learn from this organization? They learn that the competence of its employees guarantees the success of the organization. Netflix ensures this by employing qualified and competent personnel and sacking the inefficient ones ( Hbr, N.P). Also, they learn that they should regularly appraise employee performance. Companies also learn that the best way an organization can improve trust with its employees is firstly by trusting its workers, which will naturally come back in return. In upholding the cooperative behavior of the employees, companies should not rank workers dependent on their performance, instead of reforming their human resources strategies for improvement. The ranking may demotivate some employees. Other businesses learn that managers play an essential role in developing an influential organizational culture. For instance, Netflix managers are at the forefront in ensuring that they uphold great teamwork among its employees. Therefore, managers should engage in activities

Managers are also required to instill additional performance skills in their subjects through approaches such as education, mentorship, and training programs. 3.) What do you think are the strengths and weaknesses of the organization's use? The hiring process is made simple and efficient by the use of Human resources. The use of a competent hiring team by Netflix has guaranteed the company reduced cost and more appealing results. More successful candidates are hired in Netflix. Netflix employees and employers have adopted an adultlike behavior of relationship with each other. An open-ended communication between staff is a strength to Netflix since they are able to solve problems and be innovative due to freedom in sharing ideologies. 4.) How do you see social media use changing in the organization? Netflix has been able to reach a massive audience through diversifying the social media platforms and accounts they use to publicize their content. For instance, on Facebook, Netflix holds more than one accounts, enabling them to reach a large audience. Facebook Netflix attracts about seventy-five million likes ( Socialinsider , N.P). Netflix is currently linking social media accounts such as Instagram with their Netflix app, which helps them continue to get more publicization through its fabs whose social media accounts are linked ( Socialinsider , N.P). Netflix is currently interested in the Halo effect ( Socialinsider , N.P). This will involve the payment by personalities and organizations who want to be popular on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. The interested members will have to pay for the famous Netflix service. They will use their social media account for commercial gain to a large number of followers.
