Welcome to Module 5 soon!
For this module, you will be submitting:
DISCUSSION BOARD:
post initial response by Wednesday and two replies to peers by Saturday.
Remember that your initial post needs to have a peer-reviewed citation and reference to
avoid losing significant points.
For this week, you could use professional sources related to
developing Evaluation Tools or related to Group Presentations for your citation and reference.
Discuss where, when, and to whom you made your presentation. How was it accepted?
What were the evaluation results? How would you have changed the presentation after
reading the evaluations?
CAPSTONE JOURNAL - ASSIGNMENT 1 OF 3:
Be sure to clearly state your three key points and address each area
per the rubric for each key
point using reflective detail and depth to receive full points. Remember: You will use these weekly
reflections for the final paper, reflecting on the program regarding your journey to graduation.
REMINDER: Check your work carefully before submitting. Re-submissions are not allowed
once your assignments are graded.
CAPSTONE PROJECT PRESENTATION (POWERPOINT) - ASSIGNMENT 2 OF 3:
NOTE: As announced earlier in the course, due to issues with the Pandemic, you may simulate
with a peer or family member as your audience.
Do present your project and solicit feedback
from your audience on your evaluation tools.
Submit your educational Power Point Presentation with
comprehensive speaker notes
on
Content slides
.
Your speaker notes must include everything that you are saying to your audience.
You need no less than 12 total slides. Start with a title slide, add
10-15 content slides
with
speaker notes and end with the reference slide(s).
Significant points are lost if there are fewer than 10
content
slides, so please count your slides
before submitting. The title slide and reference slides do
not count as content slides.

A note on Comprehensive Speaker Notes: Writing “Read slide” in the speaker notes is not
acceptable…..your speaker notes must be detailed in order to receive full credit. You must be
speaking for at least 20 minutes to meet the requirements. Cite all sources.
CAPSTONE PROJECT EVALUATION FORMS, SUMMARY, AND FINAL GRID- ASSIGNMENT 3
OF 3:
Submit as one Word document and be sure to include all of the
require//////////////////////////////////////////////d portions of the assignment. For APA format NUMBER
YOUR PAGES!
Include:
Title page
Two evaluation tools that you have created (1 for quality and 1 for content)
Summary of the feedback you receive from your presentation audience
Copy of your final completed Objectives and Content grid with any corrections needed from
Module 3
Reference page, using APA 7th edition format.
Remember that this is to be submitted as one running WORD document. Please remember to use
the 7
edition student paper format. Here is a link to an example from the UTA Libraries site:
https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/paper-format/student-paper.docx
To clarify on your evaluation tools – Create your own and submit two blank tools to show what you
used for your audience feedback.
Do not copy evaluation tools from websites.
You may
pattern yours from another source used as a guide, but your tool must be created by
you.
Here are examples of what is required for each tool:
Content Tool:
The content tool must measure
content/outcomes
– DO NOT USE A LIKERT
SCALE for the content/outcomes tool. This tool is a post-test that measures what your audience
has learned. Review your outcomes on your grid and create a tool that actually measures them.
Examples:
True/False, Fill in the Blank, Multiple Choice or Short Essay. NOT a Likert Scale
or Self-Rating tool for Content. Create a short test on the topic you have presented using
your presentation content.
Example
content
questions:
List 3 predisposition factors that lead to falls:
Or
True or False: Only women are at risk for breast cancer.

Quality of Presentation tool:
The other tool must measure
quality
of the presentation/speaker –
this usually is done using a Likert scale.
Example question:
The speaker is knowledgeable on content: Circle 1 2 3 4 5 (5 being the best), etc.
Please be sure to review the assignment instruction template and rubric for all details.
Evaluation of Feedback summary
: Include at least a paragraph (minimum 100 words) to
discuss the methods used to evaluate your Project. Include why the method you have chosen to
evaluate the project is appropriate. Include in your paragraph how you will take results from the
evaluation to change or improve the presentation.
Final Grid and Full Reference page(s):
Add your finalized grid from Week 3 with any corrections
or updates needed, including the reference page.
Contact your coach if you have more questions. Have a safe week please!
Sincerely,
Coach Wright
