Added Customer Value: The two initiative’s I would introduce to NationaliTeas would be first customer satisfaction surveys. This can get us a better idea of how the consumers are feeling and how we can improve. NationaliTeas can also offer a 20% off their next purchase for filling out the survey. The second initiative I would introduce would be implementing a product quality certification. This can make sure that NationaliTeas is producing the higher quality product for their customers. It also provides peace of mind for the company. Added Business Value: The added value that customer satisfaction surveys will bring to the company would be that they can shed some light on what customers biggest complaints are. This can help make the business more effective and run smoother which will make more money. It will also help us learn more about the customers and what their expectations are. The product quality certification can add value to the business by showing the consumers we are serious about our products and want the best for our consumers. The certification process would help ensure that the highest quality products are being are being processed in the most ethical way possible. This can help NationaliTeas become more of a B corporation. Potential Resources: For the customer satisfaction surveys I think by using social media to let customers know by filling out the survey you will get 20% off your next purchase can be helpful. I also believe that putting the survey up on the website as the first thing that pops up can make people more likely to fill it out and promoting in store. I think having a customer service department in any business is helpful to make things run smoother. Implementing a team to handles complaints and assess the surveys could be more costly to have another team but would be helpful. For the
product quality certification this could be a little more costly but worth it in the end. They would have to hire an auditor to come out and evaluate the products. They will also need to hire more staff to complete the required documentation needed as well as to maintain and evaluate to maintain the certification. Also utilizing social media to let consumers know of the certification can by putting it on our website could draw in more customers. Monitoring and Evaluation: I would recommend implementing a team to handle and monitor the customer issues, complaints and surveys would be best here. I think by having monthly meetings to discuss how the company can be improved by what the customers have to say would also be helpful. NationaliTeas should also monitor production for quality standards, have periodic audits and maintain the product quality certification.
