Megan Cook Week 2 7/16/2023 Course Project - Business Plan Part I Business Philosophy To serve the families in our community by exceeding the standard care for the youth and leading them on a path of empowerment. Company Summary Baby Bloom strives to serve families in the surrounding communities who need extra resources in childcare for their family. We provide services for families of all demographics who have children from the ages 18 months to 6 years old. Our facility is owned and operated by Megan Cook. Megan Cook is educated in ECE and the continuing education that goes into fostering the youth. She is director certified and is qualified to run the business with a Bachelor of Business Management. Under Megan are the teachers that will be helping to create a safe and learning rich environment. Teachers are all safety and CPR certified. These teachers are also all required to maintain continuing education hours relating to their profession. Megan will be able to qualify for the government funding and will acquire the rest through small business loan options that available for women who are opening up a small business in the Texas area. The current area that Megan is wanting to start her business in does not have a local daycare center for families in the area. There is a school district close by, but nowhere for the surrounding 25 miles are there early education options. A waitlist will be available for families in the area to sign up for those who are interested in this early education option. This waitlist will be a great look to see our projected enrollment for opening. Business Goals Exceed the standard care for the youth we care for The standard of care for children in Texas is higher, but we strive to go higher. We not only want to give your children a safe space but offer them enrichment in learning opportunities. We do not want to just get your kid’s school ready, but school confident! Build and maintain relationships with families in the community One of our main goals is to help the families in our community and this serves us a great purpose with families trusting us with their children and spreading the word of mouth of care about our facility. To maintain these relationships, we must provide constant quality of care for the youth we serve. Score and maintain a TSR scale of 5
This is the major milestone that helps us know that our goal has been reached for the care of the children and the relationships in the community. With the highest score of 5 given from the TSR to qualify our facility to be Texas State Ready in preparing children for their path to success.
