2 Operational Plan Company Introduction Bloom Baby is a locally established daycare that is located in the heart of Texas. We take care of children from 18 months all the way through Pre-K where we get them not only school ready but school confident! Here at Bloom Baby, we strived to go up and beyond the standard guidelines of childcare set in Texas and provide a curriculum that also exceeds these standards and expectations. We set the foundation for the behavior, emotional, social, and cognitive skills that your child needs to enable them on their path to success. Our top three strategic goals for Baby Bloom are: 1. Provide a safe and learning enriched environment. 2. Foster healthy social and emotional skills. 3. Exceed standard daycare expectations and guidelines. Operational Plan Megan is the Director and Owner of Baby Bloom and will be responsible for human resources and physical resources. Megan will oversee curriculum development and employee resources. Payroll and maintenance of the building will be outsourced. The four-classroom facility will be built according to the childcare Texas guidelines. There are a total of 10 workers in the facility. 4 lead teachers, 3 teacher’s assistants, a front desk clerk, an assistant director, and the director.
3 Operational Plan Team Goals Specific team goals that relate to the strategic goals of the company are: 1. Effective communication throughout the organization and to parents. a. We are partnered with an application that provides employees with access to staff, child, and parent information to easily communicate and inform of necessary information. 2. Strive for continuous improvement for career and personal development a. Our company is also partners with AgriLife. They help us with resources and many opportunities for continuous development throughout Bloom Baby employment. 3. Providing a safe learning environment that exceeds the standard care guidelines a. As childcare providers we are familiar with the standard care guidelines, but through continuous improvement we can development more effective skills and ideas that promote an explementary experience for the people we service. Our quality management approach to help ensure our strategic goals and operational plan are effective in our community would be to promote continuous improvement for our employees, management team, and the children that we teach. As an employee you are provided with many training opportunities that align with these strategic goals. We even offer and encourage personal development opportunities with seminars, special retreats, and continuous education courses. We cannot provide for our youth if we ourselves are not provided for. Mental health is a very important topic and issue for our line of work with children. Burnouts are most common with childcare facility workers and is something we try to avoid with open-door communication

4 Operational Plan policies and the encouragement of improving employee relationships throughout the organization. The measurable scale of success for our field comes from the people we service. If we can sustain 65 children in our childcare facility, which is the maximum limit, we are achieving our goals in the company and the community. TSR is another scale we like to base our success on. The goal is to obtain a 5-scale rating in our first 3 years of operations.
