BSBINS501 Implement information and knowledge management systems
Procedure
1. Read all materials required for this assessment task: this procedure, Bounce Fitness Simulated Business (bounce.precisiongroup.com.au) and information supplied in the case study.
Case Study 1
You are working in the Human Resources Team in the Bounce Fitness Head Office and have been asked to develop an information system that will allow amongst other things, all staff achievements to be centrally recorded in the Head Office computer system and accessible by the Human Resources team and Centre Managers. All Personal Trainers will be able to view only their information but will not be able to make entries. This will ensure that all staff are able to have current information, and comply with the organisational goals and expectations of Bounce Fitness. Likewise, clients will be able to view their own accounts, training records and diet sheets. The Personal Trainer assigned to each client will be able to make data entries
to their client's accounts and print diet sheets and exercise plans. Head Office will use it as their central knowledge base. Currently there is no access outside hard copy records in each Centre. It is your responsibility to plan the training for the Centres including how the teams will be trained and how the project will be managed and monitored over the various Centres and present as a recommendation to the Board of Directors. You will also be required to anticipate any problems that might occur. In the Tasks following, there are bullet points to guide you as to what is required in each section. Address each task as a section of a report. There are also links to the locations of documents that you may find useful on the Bounce Fitness website. You will be required to conduct your own external research on information management systems that could be used for this purpose.

2. Develop a report that discusses the following:
2.1. The learning needs of your staff in the Cairns Centre which will enable them to enter and search data on the information or knowledge management
system.
Organizational learning culture and knowledge management have been regarded as key concepts in both academic and managerial settings due
to the high level of competition between organisations. This study aims to provide evidential support for the relationship between employee engagement and knowledge management, particularly in terms of learning culture's prediction of learning processes. Standard regression analysis will be used to examine the data at the organizational level. According to the research results, learning culture and process improvements were found to have a significant and positive relationship.
Internal integration is the best determinant for Knowledge management formal practices, Knowledge Management informal methods, and strategic management of knowledge among the two dimensions of learning culture, whereas the external adaptation dimension is shown to
predict only strategic management of knowledge. The current study adds to the theoretical and empirical knowledge about the development
of learning culture and knowledge management procedures. BSBINS501 Learner Instructions 2

BSBINS501 Implement information and knowledge management systems
Information systems played a significant role in society because they allowed for a broader range of human activities. These schemes accelerated day to day activities, allowed people to build and maintain new and often more rewarding relations, influenced the organisational structure and composition, changed the types of products acquired and influenced the nature of the work. Information and knowledge have become very valuable assets. However, as new opportunities arose, so did new threats as a result of the reliance on information systems. Industrywide innovation and research are constantly developing new opportunities while attempting to contain threats. This decision was made in response to client feedback and is in line with the company's continuous improvement process. Because the information system contains a plethora of useful documents for learners, such as policies and procedures, forms, templates, and other useful files, they were moved to the site. With the switch to the popular content management system, there should be no negative consequences or disruptions to training and assessment activities. The Bounce Fitness links in the Highly precise Group training resources take you to a site where you can
enter and search data from the management system. To access the new
Bounce Fitness website, staff and students must use their new credentials. Their RTO will only require one set of login credentials for all
of their employees and students.
2.2 How would you recommend that your team be trained? What resources will you need in the human, financial and physical areas to provide that type of training and bridge the training gaps?

BSBINS501 Implement information and knowledge management systems
I would recommend that my team be trained because an organization's objectives and goals are the focus of a Training Needs Analysis, which then determines the to accomplish these tasks and people. It collects basic information on where employees start so that you can supply them with the necessary tools to achieve the objectives of your company. If this step is skipped, the employees will be stranded on a raft in the middle of the Atlantic with no soil in sight. They won't know which way to snorkel, and they'll all brake pads out and give up eventually. Certain people prioritise the evaluation of basic employee knowledge before setting objectives, but context data are much more valuable. Decide on the organisation goals and objectives of the company before collecting employee information to find out where to spend valuable training. Goals can be very concrete or intangible, but if they can be thought of and set as a goal, we can train them and track their progress. Make sure that the entire C-suite is on board and prepared to focus on achieving your objectives, whatever they may be. Determine what knowledge, skills, and abilities you'll need to achieve your goals. Employees may have gaps in their knowledge, skills and abilities as your business grows and changes so that this step breaks down and expresses carefully what employees have to be able to understand and do after the training to meet their intended goals. Individual learning goals help to guide and focus training efforts. Training materials, such as curriculum, teaching methods, video clips, and selfpaced items, as well as the surrounding environment in which formal training is delivered, are all required physical resources. It must be acknowledged that training is not the primary business of most organizations and that investing heavily in the research and development of training resources and equipment is not a wise investment. BSBINS501 Implement information and knowledge management systems
Human resources are important. Organizations that follow best practices
have a culture of learning and are clear about the level of participation expected from employees during the training process. Training is "everybody's responsibility," instead of being the responsibility of an assigned training department. The word "need" is one of the most powerful motivators for people to take on this responsibility. The individual has recognized a need for training in the routine aspects of their work as a result of the competency assessment and is more likely to accept responsibility for coordinating or participating in training to meet that need. Financial resources are required to purchase the equipment needed, services, and supplies to ensure the smooth implementation (e.g., staff tracking devices, equipment repair/calibration); in addition, license and inspection fees must be paid.
There may be a training gap as a result of lectures, which lack engagement, but this can be remedied by using virtual options, which provide flexibility. Employee education is essential to a company's success. Employees who have completed a comprehensive training program are well-prepared and skilled. To ensure this progress, training should be involving and realistic, and virtual learning options should be available. If these requirements are met, we will have a highly productive organization.
2.3 If your ideas are accepted, how will you organise and facilitate the learning activities? You must meet with your Assessor who will play the role of the Board of Directors and will either accept or reject your proposal.
I will organize and facilitate the learning activities by making a list of objectives for the course that will be communicated to the staff.
Preparing a curriculum that will help in achieving the goals.
Make evaluations to see how effective it is at presenting the information.
Start a project or make plans for one.
Pay attention to the details
Recognize various points of view
Observe the instructions.
Keep an inventory of your possessions.
Make a narrative (verbally or in writing)
Details should be remembered and communicated in sequential order.
Keep track of the information that needs to finish a project. BSBINS501 Learner Instructions 2

BSBINS501 Implement information and knowledge management systems
Monitor monitoring arrangements that are appropriate for the learner allows the level of knowledge, skill and experience to support.
To reflect the agreed working learning path to introduce tasks, activities and processes in the workplace.
Encourage learners to take responsibility and reflect on their learning.
Structure and enhance new learning activities, improve existing skills and identify improvement areas.
Regular inter-party meetings are used to assess the learning/facilitation relationship's effectiveness.
Easily close, using interpersonal skills as needed.
Assess the work-based pathway's effectiveness relative to the goals, procedures, and methods used.
2.4 How will you promote and support the use of the system throughout the Cairns Centre and overall organisation?
Will promote and support the use of the system throughout the Cairns Centre and overall organization by hearing the employees. Address complaints, criticisms, and dissatisfaction quickly, fairly. Invite feedback and involvement. Know the truth if you have a business concept. If this is a great idea and then carry it out, give the employee kudos. Create an
open and friendly culture. From subtle things such as an overview, to more direct examples such as a business owner who tries to stop speaking to everyone every day, corporate atmosphere helps to determine if employees want to contribute to promoting and whether employees promote outside their regular hours and help increase access. Providing training on a regular basis. As we develop new services, ensure that all employees understand the new services and their functionality from the reception stage onwards. Provision of resources. Resources. Ensure that our staff are provided with more than enough resources to reach and share the information if someone they know has an inquiry or wants more information. Encourage but not mandate involvement. Also, by providing a webinar or workshop, I can attract the target and collect their contacts for future follow-up.

BSBINS501 Implement information and knowledge management systems
First, locate my target, then set up a group meeting. "learn n do" one-
hour sessions. Organize lunch and advertise to the right people and teach them something over lunch in one hour. Hosting at our local City council or another networking team. I'll use online "learn n do" meetings
to promote the services to my staff, and it'll get me ahead of my target and viewpoint me as an expert on what I'm doing. Of those attending teleconferences, some might decide to try my services. These were small groups of prospects, but high-quality. Through these sessions, I got several leads and consultations and some really good clients. When the presentation is over, I'm sure most staff will know about the information system and be prepared to access it by entering and searching the organization's information and knowledge.
2.5 How will you monitor and document the effectiveness of the learning activities?
Post-training questionnaires, one-to-one discussions, employee feedback, participant case analysis, and similar services exams are some ways to measure effective training. The more information I collect on beneficial results, the easier it is to quantify the return on investment. Before training begins, it's useful to assess what factors I'll measure and how I'll collect these data. Interestingly, some proven methodologies already exist to measure training effectiveness.
In real life, we can get a clear understanding of employees completing learned tasks. Employees can upload video, sound recording, councilor, or photos as evidence of a completed task, using workshop learning. Such visual proof can help me, as a human resource team member, gauge if the learning is a success and customize future sessions accordingly. New technologies like microlearning platforms can enable us to collect details of how employees engage in learning content during
their work. Microlearning solutions collect data on how users engage with the learning programs. Since microlearning is much more measurable (not to acknowledge more willingness to engage for employees), companies are increasingly trying to convert their training programs into these bite-sized learning content wherever it makes sense to track.
That's how other multinationals measure and assess learning activities. The platform will track how many times in real-time people accessed contextual walkthroughs in-app to identify the gaps left by training. Such business intelligence also played a key role in providing an optimized learning experience and enhancing sales productivity. We can also gather user feedback in real-time when they accessed training and implemented it to work.

Feedback and survey seem to be the most core concepts of evaluation, they are also incredibly crucial to achieving the answers that will evaluate whether or not our training program was a success. The innovation is to gather genuine feedback so that training is measured and remedies are immediately implemented. Gather feedback on each walkthrough training to determine the best results for your content creation efforts. Also, other platforms integrate survey methods to obtain user feedback from specific situations to help higher response rates. We can however decode our learners' relationship with rating [1-
5]. This benchmark, frequently in use in customer satisfaction analyses, also helps in evaluating the effectiveness of e-learning. It comes from our clients and employees. The score assigned to our training program can also help us determine what external conditions contributed to the favorable and unfavorable reactions of individual learners.
