Why vision, mission, and strategy are linked to the organizational strategic plan The mission, values, and vision statements of Common Spirit Health assist in developing the organizational strategy. They provide essential goals and purposes, which are vital components of the strategy. They highlight the audience for healthcare and what the audience identifies as essential. By finding these components, the organizational managers can create a process strategy plan that assists the health centre in attaining its mission in the short run and achieving its vision in the long run while observing the organizational values. 3 Strategic goals should encourage constant engagement by repeating and communicating values, vision, and mission statement, which assists in preventing individuals from being discouraged from incasing failures. Organizational leaders should identify the strategic establishment strengths and entails essential stakeholders in the system. Involving volunteers and employees will assist them in realizing and taking possession of the change. The other strategic goal is ensuring that the healthcare system provides high-quality service within a short period. In addition, patients expect courteous and professional treatment. Providing on-site assistance, education and training to the patients establish additional value for the organization. Importance of including Marketing Department in Strategic planning The marketing department plays a critical function in promoting the organization's mission, values and vision. It acts as the organization's mirror coordinating all its products and services. Involving marketing in a strategic plan helps in analyzing the current environment (Berlin School of Business and Innovation, 2021). It helps in evaluating the performances and positioning of the organization. Involving marketing in strategic planning is important as it assists in developing attainable marketing objectives. Strategic marketing is important because it creates services and products that increases the value of the organization.
