Project Management Life Cycles Introduction: The selection of the PMLC model to implement will be a significant factor in the end outcome of the project, so give it careful consideration. During this session, I will explore the uses of PMLC models in the real world as well as discuss some of my personal experiences using these models. I will also highlight some of the research that I have conducted utilizing PMLC models. First, I will share what I have learned about PMLC models, and then we will choose a project in accordance with whether or not it is appropriate for application throughout that framework[ CITATION Mit185 \l 1033 ]. Reflecting on PMLC Models Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work with several different types of PMLC models. The most intriguing possibilities are the incremental model and the spiral model. 1. Incremental Model Experience: The Incremental Model in Project Management Learning and Control (PMLC) breaks down a massive project into smaller, more manageable chunks at regular intervals. The changes are done separately and then put together. I just implemented this strategy on a thriving e-commerce website. The customer had various questions that needed detailed explanations[ CITATION Mit185 \l 1033 ].
We were able to keep the consumer in the loop while routinely releasing substantial improvements to the platform thanks to the incremental model's emphasis on delivering the platform's advances in small, digestible portions. This method not only resulted in 100% work completion but also boosted happy customers[ CITATION Tur199 \l 1033 ]. 2. Spiral Model Experience: The Spiral Model is an iterative process that integrates risk assessment and management into each stage of a project's life cycle. This technique shines in situations when it is challenging to define the scope of the project and evaluate the risks connected with the whole undertaking. Recently, I used the spiral model in some financial software. Uncertainty in the regulatory climate meant that extreme prudence was required. Using the spiral model's iterative approach, we were able to address the client's security issues in stages while also meeting their constantly growing compliance needs[ CITATION Mit185 \l 1033 ]. Identifying a Project Match: Let's pretend that one of the projects I've worked on may greatly benefit from adopting a PMLC approach. Project ideal for a specific PMLC model: Let's pretend for a moment that we're building a program to help businesses organize business trips. The incremental model is a good fit for the firm because of the dynamic nature of the app industry and the need to enter the market rapidly. If the app's development is broken up into phases, the most crucial components may be finished in time for release.

The firm can strengthen its foothold in the market and improve the app's functionality and usability with the help of feedback from early users[ CITATION Tur199 \l 1033 ]. Conclusion: As a result, the most effective PMLC approach is the one that is modified to fit the specifics of the present endeavor. Having experience with both the incremental and spiral methods, I can speak to the importance of using the most suitable approach for the work at hand. The sham mobile app development project demonstrates the incremental model's potential to help entrepreneurs succeed in today's competitive app industry[ CITATION Mit185 \l 1033 ].
