2 Competitive Analysis A competitive analysis compares company weaknesses and advantages against business rivals to see how they relate. By comparing their performance to that of the top players in a particular sector, users may spot areas for improvement in addition to tactics that could be more effective. The world's top specialty coffee processor and distributor is Starbucks Coffee Company. Its tagline is to provide its consumers with outstanding experiences, and its objective is to empower and nourish the human soul. As one of the world's biggest fast food chain companies, McDonald's serves 69 million people daily with the tagline "I am loving it." Although McDonald's does not explicitly state its objective in its corporate description, the catchy phrase "I am loving it" captures the firm's values and customer experiences (Giraffe Social Media, 2022, pg. 2). Starbucks extensively uses images in its postings and follows popular social media tendencies. It frequently promotes user-generated material and shows appreciation for users by holding contests and giving them discounts (Francis, 2021). On the other hand, McDonald's encourages its consumers to engage with the company and one another. Additionally, the business provides numerous discounts and promotions via its social media sites and business app. McDonald's needs to ensure that the vast majority of its clients are acknowledged and that it reacts to all communications, whether favorable or unfavorable. They must try to get in touch with each consumer and show them they are valued. In order to expand its accounts of 4.7M followers as compared to 11.1 million followers in Starbucks, McDonald's needs to concentrate on its Twitter approach of highlighting the views of its followers (Francis, 2021). By sharing posts and engaging with them, they should put their attention on doing a fantastic job
3 of promoting their fans. To draw attention to the communications from their clients, they ought to employ the featured tweets option. They should employ a familiar language style and a humorous tone to keep their Twitter messages a fan favorite.
