MODULE 08 - PROFESSIONAL PORTFOLIO 2 Throughout the course, I have done several assignments that demonstrated the mastery of several skills, including communication, critical thinking, digital fluency, diversity and teamwork, ethics and professional responsibility, and information literacy. Assignments on developing a portfolio, mission statement, and strategies for taking the NCLEX license exam demonstrated communication skills. I portrayed and communicated my understanding of the portfolio development, mission statement, and strategies for passing the license exam through writing. It is essential to understand that communication can be verbal, non-verbal, or written. Therefore, writing and presenting these assignments demonstrated my mastery of communication skills. Module five discussion on critical thinking and clinical judgment scenario demonstrated my mastery of critical thinking. In this assignment, I employed critical and logical thinking on patient assessment and prioritization of activities. I prioritized the patients who were at risk and needed urgent care. The assignment on strategies for taking the NCLEX exam also portrayed my mastery of critical thinking. Developing the various techniques required logical and systematic review. Besides, developing a portfolio, especially the electronic one, demonstrated my understanding of digital fluency. I used a laptop to accomplish this task without struggling. I could easily search for information online and use MS word and PowerPoint. Module five’s clinical judgment scenario and portfolio development comprised the assignments which demonstrated my mastery of diversity and teamwork. I acknowledged the patient diversity while assessing them and prioritizing activities. In other words, I did not handle their cases the same. Developing the portfolio with my classmates portrayed teamwork. Completing the assignments per the instructions and timelines demonstrated my mastery of ethics and professional responsibility. I also handled the case in the clinical judgment scenario with respect, dignity, and diversity, demonstrating an understanding of

MODULE 08 - PROFESSIONAL PORTFOLIO 3 ethics and professional responsibility. Lastly, assignments on strategies for taking the NCLEX exam and developing a mission statement portrayed my mastery of information literacy. I searched for information on the web with ease to complete the tasks.
