In approximately three sentences, summarize the major findings of this paper: This article discusses the impacts of urbanization and the urban land expansion on different species. It predicts that vital habitat for 30,000 different species will be lost due to urban communities. It discusses the effects of rapidly urbanizing regions of sub-Saharan Africa, South America, Mesoamerica, and Southeast Asia; when not planned carefully, urbanization is expected to cause a large amount of biodiversity loss (Simkin et al. 2022). They found that there is an urgent need for global conservation and being able to identify high priority areas. 5.
