Reflect back to your own early childhood. Examine the creative experiences you were
exposed to and the experiences you enjoyed.
When I think about the creative things I did when I was young and look back on them, I realize
there were a lot of them. We didn't have many toys when I was a child, so my brother and I
would often go outside and play with the other children in the neighborhood. We weren't bored
because of this. We didn't have nearly as many toys as children do now when I was a child.
When I was younger, my friends and I would use mud to make play plates, cups, and pots, and
then let them dry in the sun for a few days before playing with them. When I was a child, I would
make play cooking tools out of mud. We used to make wallets from plastic bags by tearing them
up and putting them back together with small stones as stitches. This is something I used to do
with one of my best friends. Children often came over to my house to hang out because there
was enough room for them to run around and play. But my parents were very loving, and they
never stopped us from going outside to play with other children in the neighborhood. When I
was in fourth grade, I had a teacher who didn't like it when I tried to be artistic. I wanted to join
the dancing group, but on the first day of practice, she told me I couldn't join because she didn't
know how to give me moves. After what happened, I made the decision not to even try to go to
the school dance. I was a much shyer person when I was younger than I am now. As of now my
husband supported me ,he
was there for me and helped me every step of the way. He also
pushed me to use my creativity. Partners who are there for us emotionally, practically, and in
terms of improvement can help us get past problems and reach our full potential. “Society needs
people with creative problem-solving abilities and strategies to address the ever increasing issues
of society, education, and technology” (Isbell & Raines,2012,p.42).

2. Use your current knowledge of child development to think about how you will foster a
sense of self in children using creative expressions.
Using what I know about how children learn and grow; I will support them to express themselves
creatively so that they can feel good about themselves. Those days of my youth are gone. In my
life, there weren't many people who told me not to pursue my creative hobbies, but there were
many who did. I want to encourage children to play with their imaginations in many different
ways. In science, math, and even social and emotional studies, you need to be creative to do well.
The more choices a child has, the more likely it is that he or she will find something that fits with
their current ideas or makes them think of new ones. I want to encourage children to find out
what they like and do what they love. I wouldn't make them do something they don't like.
Instead, I would tell them to work on their creativity by doing things they already like.
Children's creativity can be sparked by acting out stories, mixing paint colors, explaining things
to each other, using different tools, and fixing problems. I would jump at the chance to go to any
seminars, workshops, or even pilot training that could help me expand my ideas. I encourage
children to explore and talk about their ideas openly by giving them a wide range of materials
and tools. This is important for helping them develop their creativity.
As I move forward on this road, its important it is to give children a safe, supportive place to try,
fail, and learn.
Children learn to be curious, resourceful, and creative when their imagination is
encouraged and supported. Children might feel better about themselves if talk to them about their
hobbies and artistic interests. Creative classes, seminars, and training show that you want to learn
new skills and get better at your job. Taking part in new classes, seminars, and training shows
helps children grow as a professional. “Children benefit from an atmosphere that is relaxed and
based on respect” (Isbell & Raines,2012,p.50)

I loved to make artwork
when I was a child. After I got married and had children, I stopped
doing it. But my husband tells me to follow my love for art whenever I want to. Both the mind
and the body benefit from the act of painting itself. It's a great way to relieve stress, remember
more, and get in touch with my emotions. “Creativity is combining two or more existing ideas in
different ways to form new ideas” (Isbell & Raines, 2012, p. 3).
The apple tree is a symbol for the creative process. Apple trees grow in stages where they do
things like bloom, make fruit, and lose their leaves. This cycle pattern could be seen as a symbol
for the different parts of the creative process, which include getting ideas, making something,
thinking about it, and getting new ideas. It stands for the creative process that happens when I let
go of my fears. The
bright leaves are meant to show how deeply I feel about my work. The way
of falling down the tree leaves shows how new ideas can have a big impact on my life. From a
psychological point of view, the picture stands for the idea of the mind. The strong branches
represent how I stand against difficulties on my way. It took so many years for a small seed to
become a large tree. The growth of a small seed into a big tree over time shows how important
patience and time are. This shows that there will be problems and mistakes in my life, which are
normal parts of any journey and should be expected.
In conclusion, the apple tree makes a big impression on the idea that creativity can lead to
my personal growth, new possibilities, and a broader view of life. This fits with the idea that
these things can be achieved through creative efforts.
