2 Benchmark—Gospel Essentials Everywhere we may go worldview exists and follows us around, the basis of these worldviews can depend in many things. Within the great understanding of Christian Worldview, the foundation is simply found in the Bible, which is a timeline of questions such as “who is God”, “what is the purpose of humanity”,”who is Jesus”, “why are we here”, and other more. We seem to found our purpose to give thanks to God to the salvation and redemption of Jesus Christ. Also to simply become God- serving people who give respect and become respectful and open about Christ. Once people have understood the meaning it is way simpler to live life in the Lord’s light. Trinity is understood that God exists in three forms when there is yet still one God. The Father, the Sun, and the Holy Spirt are included in the triune. Trinity is mentioned in 2 Corinthian 13:14. The trinity is the belief that God exists in three forms - The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, yet there is still only one God. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ refers to the unmerited favor and forgiveness that Jesus offers to the internal ad under waiving favor and forgiveness that Jesus offers to humanity through his sacrifice on the cross. In Christianity regarding the belief that God is the ultimate creator of the universe and that humans are superior and dominate to other creations. According yo this belief, “God’s supremacy is displayed by his creative acts (Ma, 2007)”, and humans are specifically created in his image with a purpose designed by God. It is important to know that this reflects a specific belief and religion. Different religions have different beliefs and perspectives between humans and the rest f creation. From Christian beliefs, humans being created in the image of God is rooted in the biblical account of creation. In the book of Genesis its shown that God creates humans in his own image.
3 Human nature is held to be as sinful due to the fall led by Adam and Eve. “Humanity was created to have life, but fall introduced sin into the world, which led to the entrance of death in the world (Grand Canyon, 2020)”. In Genesis 3: 16-19, Gods orders were disobeyed by Adam and Eve which created a broken relationship between humanity and God. Adam and Eve were told to not eat the fruit from the Garden of Eden, instead they listened to the evil serpent. God punishes humanity of disobeying His orders in Genesis 3:16-19. These punishments that are shown today are experiencing conflicts between man and women, experiencing pregnancy, and the struggle of working. “When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for sinned. (Romans 5:12,NLT)”. Jesus has an importance onto Christianity. He is believed to be the Son of God, and Messiah who cam to save humanity from sin. According to christian belief, Jesus was born to the Virgin Mary through the intervention of the Holy Spirit. He is considered to be perfect, sinless, and his teaching and actions are seen as divine. Jesus is believed to have performed miracles, such as healing from the dead. He has also taught the gospel, spreading the message of God’s love and forgiveness. There are four things that form the basis of Christianity, The nature of God, nature of humanity, nature of Jesus, and the restoration. These concepts are indeed interconnected and form the basis of Christian faith. Understanding who God is and His purposes is crucial in Christianity. Christians believe in the existence of one god who is all powerful, all knowing, and loving. They believe that God created the universe and everything with a specific purpose in mind. The nature of Humanity is important to know since it was shaped by the early acts of Adam and Eve. According to the christian teachings Adam and Eve were the first human beings

4 created by God, and their disobedience to God’s commands brought sins to this world. The sin affected all humanity leading a broken relationship with God. The nature of Jesus is central to Christianity. Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God who came to earth to redeem humanity. Which he ultimately sacrificed hisself on the cross to pay for the sins of humanity. Redemption or restoration is highly believe by Christians who have an opportunity to be saved form their consequences of sin. Redemption allows believers to have a personal relationship with God and experience eternal life. From not being a christian onto learning how important humanity is it helps us notice what is right and what is wrong and why things are the way they are. Though it might be crazy to us non believers or non christians to think the sin is always surrounding us, learning to become a believer and a follower can make it easier to stray away from the sinful things around us. Becoming a believer can help us show love, compassion, mercy, grace, motivating others, and having faith in Jesus is such an amazing factor that plays a big role into Christian Worldview. Having salvation helps us stay motivated to repeal ourselves from our sins. Many people outside the religion of Christianity like myself, may take it very difficult to grasp onto the concepts of their thought asking who is God, and either He is real or not. Believing hell or heaven is not true, there not being an after life for people, but all the history is in the Bible. It just all comes down to what people were taught, whether they are religious or not which is okay. Every religion is different and are all beautiful, but not everyone of them have the same beliefs to which is why they might question the beliefs of those who are Christian. As for Christians, their foundation of their faith is all held in the Bible which is God’s word.
5 There are multiple exposure that goes into Christian Worldview. Understanding and learning God, humanity, Jesus, and the restoration. When knowing these things it helps grow our faith with God and serves us as a reminder to why we have a purpose or to learning about “who is God”, or maybe even “Why are we here”. It is also a known fact into learning and understanding the “why’s”,”how’s”, and “what’s”. We are here to learn, hear and share the Lord’s light by spreading his gospel just as Jesus did. Even through you may have a different opinion on Christian Worldview or have a different religion it is still important to just becoming open about serving the greater purpose given by God.
