1 Benchmark: Gospel Essential Michele Sims Grand Canyon University: CWV-101 Instructor Michele Pasley November 20, 2023
Gospel Essential Every individual has a worldview, whether secular, pantheistic, or theistic. A person's worldview enables them to perceive the world through the lens of their beliefs. There are several assumptions about what is real and what is true that are inherent in a Christian worldview, just like any other. These beliefs provide an understanding of the world. Christianity, also called the biblical worldview, is based on belief in God's existence; it is monotheistic in nature . There are several ways for Christians to interpret the meaning of "Christian behavior" and how-to live-in connection with God. No matter what theological differences there may be, Christianity maintains that Jesus is the only road to glory. Christian worldview focuses on God, mankind, Jesus, and restoration. To live according to God, we [humans] need these necessities. The Lord According to Christianity, God interacts both physically and spiritually with us. A date cannot be placed on God's existence; he/she has existed forever. Happiness comes from God, who created everything. A fundamental source of understanding God is the Bible, according to Collins (1993). "Love is patient and kind." It is neither envious, boastful, nor self-assured. It is not harsh, self-seeking, or quickly irritated, and it maintains no record of wrongs. God, as defined by Christianity, interacts with us both physically and spiritually. God's existence cannot be quantified; he/she has existed indefinitely. God, who made everything, is the source of pleasure. Based on Collins (1993), the Bible is a vital source for comprehending God. "Love does not take pleasure in evil but rejoices in the truth" (Corinthians 13:4-7). To comprehend God, one must comprehend love, for God is love. Christians believe that God is a forgiving and caring God, rather than an indifferent God who condemns faulty people to torment. The affection of God is unconditional. Genesis begins with the beginning of the world and how everything came to be. Genesis 1 teaches readers how God created the world surrounding humanity. Everything that can be
observed, grasped, or inhaled was made by God's hands. God created everything, from sunrise to sunset to the start of man. The World Humans have been debating whether humanity has a fixed fundamental essence or a changing basic nature for decades. Due to the Christian viewpoint, what precisely is human nature? God speaks about human nature in Genesis 1:26-31. He or she informs us that all people, including men and women, are made in the image of God. Humankind is the most amazing work of God. Men and women were made with the goal of becoming like God to be good. Humans, according to Clauson (2015) and many other Christians, share qualities with God. Men and women can have a solid relationship with God, as well as generate, love, and make choices of their own. People are imperfect, even if their actions mirror God's. The fall of mankind led to the establishment of a sin account. The third chapter of Genesis dives into the evolution of human nature. Throughout the enduring Genesis 3 story, Adam, and Eve both rebelled against God by eating the forbidden fruit (Gen. 3:6). Both Adam and Eve ate the fruit to become like God, and as a result, they became aware of both good and evil. The initial sin of Adam and Eve echoed throughout humanity. From that day onward, all naturally formed humans were sinners. God Belief in Jesus Christ is an essential component of becoming a Christian. Christians believe that Jesus is the key to salvation and glory. The Christian worldview maintains belief in the holy trinity, which comprises of the father, son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus is regarded as God's Son in Christianity. He emerged from a virgin as both man and God; he is the visible image of God. Jesus was not prone to sin since he didn't come into the world naturally. Christ walked in the Lord's name and following his demonstration. He abstained from sin and taught from the Bible. However, many people, particularly in Israel, denied Jesus' divine character throughout his lifetime (The divine., 2016). Though Christ's body died, he resurrected in spirit on the third day.

Jesus toiled to praise God and to atone for our sins. Christ suffered and died to cleanse us of our sins. His sacrifice may be seen as the greatest gesture of love for humanity. Regeneration One and only answer to human difficulties, according to the Christian perspective, is to seek a healthy connection with God. God's mission is to rescue mankind from sin and bring people back to Himself. Only the atonement of Jesus Christ can bring about restoration. Restitution, according to Merrick (2015), is the act of devoting and repairing one's heart of flesh by means of confidence in Christ. The main purpose of Jesus' life, death, and burial was to rescue humanity from sin. The goal of salvation is to protect humans from falling apart from God. Righteousness is a gift from God that is based on faith (Ephesians 2:8). People can't accomplish reformation and salvation on their own, and they are going to fail until God intervenes. Assessment A Christian worldview develops a vast community and gives people a framework for ethical thinking. The power of Christian faith is having God influence your outlook on life. Christians believe that God is loving, gentle, and forgiving. The Christian worldview holds that there is a realm of afterlife free of pain, death, and suffering. Revelation 21:4 teaches Christians about heavenly and the extent to which superior it is on Earth. "He will wipe away all their tears." "There will be no more death, mourning, crying, or pain, because the old order of things has passed away," says the Bible (Revelation 21:4). The key to a joyful afterlife is to accept God into our hearts. Skeptics may ask why an innocent and loving God would let suffering and wickedness to exist. This is arguably the most difficult task that Christianity, and those who are most devoted Christians, will confront. God grants humanity free will, and both Adam and Eve sinned because of their decisions. Due to the fall of man, it is now written in how we are to distinguish between both good and evil and to resist wicked seduction. Because of their pardon,
God has offered us redemption from our sins. While no one explains why God allowed pain to enter the earth, Christians trust that he can carry us over it. The process of reflection As We consider my own perspective, I see that it shares several fundamental presumptions with the Christian worldview. I have faith in a God that interacts with his or her creatures and cares deeply for all. God formed our souls in His image, and we [mankind] are intended to be "very good." Although we are born in sin, if we have trust and love for God in our hearts, we can be saved. My trust in God becomes stronger with every fresh revelation about who God is. I consider myself a non-denominational Christian. I adhere to Christian principles and practices. I put my beliefs into action every day by being the greatest version of myself and strive to grow. I currently attend Legacy Church, a secular congregation in Albuquerque, New Mexico, electronically. I believe that if I harbor hatred in my heart, I would be unable to completely love God, thus I make an intentional choice to show tolerance and compassion to people who have wronged me or hold opposing views to mine. Summary Every person has a viewpoint, whether they are conscious of it or not. The Christian worldview represents a large group of people who accept God as their king. Christianity's behavior may be viewed in a multitude of ways, and religious practice differs from person to person. Despite various points of view, the Christian world believes in a magnificent God. For Christians, their goal is to have a connection with Christ and endeavor to live by the key pillars of Christianity: the divine, humanity, Jesus, and redemption. No matter regardless someone believes in Christian worldviews, the teachings are intended to help them live a more full and significant life. Today's culture pushes God further away with each passing day, and decisions are taken to gratify the human flesh rather than their spiritually. It is understandable why there is so much hatred in today's culture. Christianity's main objective is to have a deeper relationship
with God. When God created humanity, he gave individuals the ability of autonomy, which allows us to choose our own decisions. God placed our life in our hands and gave us a means of directing our faith.
