When you think of other cultures in a way that your culture tells you to think of them as Cultural relativism is the effort to understand the beliefs and behaviours of other cultures in terms of the culture in which they are found. Cultural relativism concerns the act of understanding the practices and beliefs of a culture in the context in which it was found whereas moral relativism, or relativist fallacy, concerns the idea that it is impossible to make moral judgements about beliefs and behaviours about members of other cultures.
