1. Please describe your career goals and how (or if) you think anthropology will end up being relevant in some way. This could be an interesting question to revisit at the end of the course to see if you have changed your mind! My Career goals are to complete general education courses first, learn a new language, have a 3.0 GPA Upon graduation, do community service organizations. I believe anthropology will be relevant in some kind of way because I want to help the community by doing service organizations. But personally anthropology can be relevant to ethnic and gender studies and maybe some work in academic research centers since it is the study of every aspect of human existence. 2. What are the four main sub-fields of anthropology? What do they have in common, and how are they different from each other? Archeology, linguistic anthropology, physical anthropology, and social anthropology are the four branches of anthropology. Cultural relativism, diversity, change, and holism are all things they have in common. Because archeology is the study of past civilizations, physical anthropology is the study of human biological development over time, sociocultural anthropology is the study of cultural traditions, and linguistic anthropology is the study of language and language use in social and cultural contexts, they are all distinct from one another. 3. Describe the types of jobs a biological/physical anthropologist does. Include as many details as possible! Which real-world application of physical anthropology interests you the most?

Biological anthropologists study the patterns of biological variation in modern human groups, trace our lineage's evolution through time in the fossil record, and provide a comparative viewpoint on humans. The study of the human body is known as physical anthropology. Genetics, anatomy, the skeleton, disease adaptability, environmental adaptation, growth, nutrition, human origins and evolution, human variation, primates, and other topics are covered. Physical anthropologists specialize in one or a few sub areas due to the large range of challenges, methodologies, and practical applications in the field.
