Total Problems: 3 (350 points)
Create a drawing file for problem 1 (using the provided part file), then answer the
textbook questions for problem 2. You are required to submit part and drawing
files for problem 1, and a PDF or Word file for problem 2.
General Instructions:
1.
All sketches must be fully defined, and no orphan entities may be present.
2.
All holes are through holes unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3.
All part files must be in ANSI
; ISO format will not be accepted.
4.
All drawings files must be ANSI Landscape, sheet size A
. Sheets
formatted in ISO or having Portrait orientation will not be accepted.
5.
Models must have the correct orientation with respect to front/top/right
planes, as demonstrated in lecture.
6.
Drawings must include all necessary views, correctly positioned/aligned,
with hidden lines visible and center lines/marks added.
7.
Drawings must be fully dimensioned.
8.
You must name your files correctly using the save command in SolidWorks;
save your files using the
exact
naming template “

where

is the respective problem number.
Do not rename your files in
Windows Explorer
. It is your responsibility to re-open your completed
drawing files prior to submission on Canvas to make sure the link to their
respective part files is functional. Drawing files with broken links cannot be
graded.

Canvas along with your SolidWorks files.
