Since both of the expressions is same on both the equation, therefore add the equation:
2a−3b=−52a+3b=13+ + +_ 4a=8 ∴a=84⇒a=2
Now, substitutes the value of ain 1st equation, then:
2a−3b=−52(2)−3b=−5 {∵a=2}4−3b=−5 {subtract 4 on both the sides}∴−3b=−9 {divide −3 on both the sides}⇒b=−9−3b=3
Hence, the value of given system of equation is a=2;b=3 .
