In the country of Taxo, each household pays taxes on its annual household income as determined by the following:
- A household with income between $0 and $20,000 pays no tax.
- For each $1 of income beyond $20,000, and up to $50,000, the household must pay $020 in tax.
- For each $1 of income beyond $50,000, and up to $100,000, the household must pay $0.40 in tax.
- For each $1 of income beyond $100,000 the household must pay $0.60 in tax.
