Martian genetics. A certain alien species has three genes that determine the color of their eyes. There are three types of genes: red, white, and blue. If a creature has all three genes the same color, then the creature will have that color eyes. If a creature has RRW, then its eye color is red; if it has RWW, then its eye color is pink; if it has RWB, then its eye color is purple; if it has RRB, then its eye color is light purple; if it has RBB, then its eye color is dark purple; if it has BBW, then its eye color is blue; if it has BWW, then its eye color is sky blue. Three alien parents are required to produce one offspring. Each parent contributes one gene to the new alien, and this gene is randomly selected. Suppose an RRR and a WWW and a BBB all mate and produce an offspring. What are the possible eye colors of this second-gene ration offspring, and for each of those colors, what is the probability that the offspring will have that eye color?
