The pelvic diaphragm or the pelvic floor is like a broadsheet that holds all the organs inside the pelvic cavity. This is formed by levator ani muscle, which is further divided into smaller muscles, namely, anterior pubococcygeus, middle iliococcygeus, and posterior ischiococcygeus muscles.
