Concept Introduction:
The radioactive isotopes or material emits alpha, beta, gamma and positron particles. These particles contain radiation with ionizing effect. This ionizing effect is due to capacity of these particles to react with matter and taking off the electron which is surrounded to nucleus and forms positively charged cations. The ionizing radiation shows physical characteristics of measurement; one is the energy and intensity of particles.
