K.E and D.C are senior employees of an automobile company that is going through a recession; the two senior employees have two different views upon their employees. K who has worked in the organization for more than 3 decades is more of a person who wants to keep as many employees as possible, whereas, D likes to keep only the best employees out of the total and does not hesitate to cut-down the employees, when they are working in an ineffective and inefficient manner. This case tells us about how two views of human resource management can affect a company.

His physician certified that he would be able to resume all of his duties in a week, but the bank balked at reinstating him. Officials at the bank expressed their shock that he was released from the hospital so quickly after threatening to kill himself. He was told that he could not be immediately reinstated because of “the impact of your action in the community and on the ability to perform your job.” He was placed on a leave of absence and then terminated.
