Windows:

• Windows is one of the operating systems that develop new versions frequently.
• It is an aggregation of operating systems developed by Microsoft.
• It includes Graphical User Interface (GUI) that helps in displaying the required data on the desktop or monitor.

User interface:

• The interaction between the user and the computer is provided by a facility in the Operating System (OS) known as user interface.
• It is an important function of the OS.
• There are three types of user interface, namely,
  • Graphical user interface
  • Menu-driven user interface
  • Command-line user interface
• User interface design defines the interactions between the user and the system.
• It includes the screen to display the navigation of the system.
• It helps users to identify the different entities running on the system.
• It provides the navigation of the system and user can easily navigate anywhere in the system.
