Explanation of Solution
When the high jumper jumps over the bar, the shape of the body will be like the shape of curve or U-shaped.
The center of mass will act under the bar due to the concept that the center of mass lies outside for the curve shaped objects.
The center of point is the point where the body is balanced by the applying force. In order to balance the body at the center of mass the additional torque is not necessaary.
