CRUD:

• The acronym for CRUD is Create, Read, Update, and Delete.
• It is used for storage purposes in application database.

    • This operation is used for inserting the data as a new record.
  • Read
    • This operation is used for retrieving the data from the table.
  • Update
    • This operation is used for updating the record in the table within the where clause.
  • Delete
    • This operation is used for deleting the record from the table.
• The user can extract and return data from application database by using these CRUD operations.
• One of the efficient choices to execute CRUD operations is by setting the stored procedures in SQL.
• Rather than ad-hoc SQL statements, most of the programmers use CRUD because of its performance, as these stored procedures can be re-used in all other applications.

REST:

• The acronym for REST is Representational State Transfer.
• It is mainly used for application design.
