Interpretation:
The three ways to increase the pressure of a contained gas is to be stated.
Concept Introduction:
The pressure of a gas is the pressure exerted by gas particles due to collisions between them to the wall of container in which the gas is kept. It depends upon the temperature of gas, external pressure on the container, the number of moles of gas present in the container and the volume of the gas container. Ideal gas equation gives the relation between pressure, volume, number of moles and temperature of the gas.
