Introduction:

The spine or vertebral column gives physical support and movements to the skull and trunk. It provides protection to the spinal cord and reduces the stresses, which are generated by physical motions such as walking, running, and lifting. It helps for the attachment of limbs, thoracic cage, and muscles. The vertebral column consists (71 cm long) of thirty three vertebrae with the intervertebral discs, which consists nearly one-quarter of the vertebral column.
