Introduction:

The spine or vertebral column gives physical support to the skull and trunk and their movement. It provides protection to the spinal cord and reduces the stresses, which are generated by physical motions, such as walking, running, and lifting. It helps for the attachment of limbs, thoracic cage, and muscles.
