Introduction:
Scapula is known by many names, namely, blade bone, shoulder bone, wing bone or shoulder blade. This bone connects the collar bone with the bone of upper arm (humerus). In an individual, there are two scapulaeon both the sides.
Structurally, the bone is triangular, thin and has 3 borders, 3 processes, 3 angles and 2 surfaces.
