Intangible assets are those assets that do not have a physical nature. For example, assets such as patents, copyrights, trademarks are all intangible assets which cannot be seen or does not have a physical nature. Investment in such assets is known as intangible investment that is investment that does not generate a physical good.
Tangible assets are those assets that have a physical existence. They can be seen, felt or touched. In addition to this, tangible assets can easily be destroyed due to natural disasters or human activities.
