Summary Introduction
To discuss: Four strategies that parents and caregivers can implement to foster healthy eating behaviors starting in infancy.
Introduction: Infancy is characterized by rapid growth and development both physiologically and psychologically. The unavailability of essential nutrients during this period results in declined growth of the infant. Therefore, it is necessary for parents and caretakers to motivate and develop healthy eating behaviors in an infant. Healthy eating behaviors during infancy also prevent the development of obesity and other chronic health problems in adulthood.
