- Storage is the process of storing the data and program onto the storage media such as Digital Versatile Disc (DVDs) and Compact Disc (CDs).
- User can retrieve the information even when there is interruption in the power or it is turned off.
- It is also called as secondary storage and easily portable and transferrable to another device.
- Examples for storage devices are hard drives, USB (Universal Serial Bus) drives, and DVD drives.
