For example, motivating the team through financial rewards rather than an individual. 4) Negative intrinsic: it focuses on performing duties on their personal rewards and benefits that will negatively impact the working environment. For example, when experienced employees are preferred to complete any project rather than talented employees. Hence, both intrinsic and extrinsic motivational techniques are very important intrinsic motivation and satisfy the basic psychological needs of an individual where extrinsic motivation focuses on the outcomes that will increase the productivity of the employees.
