By comparing the structure of a bacterium and virus that what might be some ways by which, an antibiotic chemical targets a bacteria and not a virus. What is the reason by which, the antibiotics are not effective in treating the viral infections like HIV.
Introduction:
There are certain well-known pathogens, which are difficult to fight with because of the resistance that they develop against certain drugs. Antibiotics are the powerful medications, which helps in fighting against the infections of bacteria. Some of the organisms become resistant to these antibiotics called as the antibiotic resistant organisms. Bacteria and viruses are the pathogens that cause diseases.
